My surgeon put me asleep (general anesthesia) during my open carpal tunnel release surgery. Im glad he did, as i wouldnt accidentally move a finger when theyre operating

Yeah, my left wrist surgery was awesome. Who do you know that gets to listen to music or play video games on their phone while getting wrist surgery I didn’t get to do that for my right hand surgery because like I said on my previous comment I had ankle surgery as well, and they decided to use general anesthesia for both the right hand and the left ankle.

I had carpal tunnel surgery on both of my hands one was done with me under mild sedation. They sedated me to numb the hand and then after that I was Wideawake and listening to music and playing games on my phone with the other hand this carpal tunnel surgery to place on October 19, 2023 and this year on April 18th 2024 I had my right hand done. Of course I was under general anesthesia for that one because along with the right hand I had screws taken out of my ankle.

This is absolutely brilliant, I’m a beginner and am delighted with the result. Wow!

What happens if you want to continue the pattern to make the heart bigger? What would you do?

This appears to be a variant of the usual Granny Square where generally a Granny Cluster is 2 DC and one does not work into the top of any DC. Certainly makes for a more closed up square with the hole being only the corner. Does make for a more solid backing to which applique the cat.
